No-tella Breakfast Smoothie


Ingredients
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons (45 ml) heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup (120 ml) unsweetened almond milk or hazelnut milk
1/4 cup (28 g/1 oz) roasted peeled hazelnuts, or 2 tablespoons (28 g/1 oz) roasted hazelnut butter
1 tablespoon (5 g/0.2 oz) cacao powder or Dutch-process cocoa powder
3–5 drops liquid stevia or any low-carb sweetener, to taste
1/4 teaspoon sugar-free vanilla extract
Optional: ice cubes for the smoothie, whipped cream, and cacao powder for topping

Method
Place all the ingredients in a blender (optionally with ice cubes). Process until smooth, creamy, and frothy on top. Pour into a serving glass and drink immediately.

TIPS:
• Are you dairy-free? Swap the whipping cream for coconut cream.
• Are you egg-free? Instead of eggs, you can use 2 to 4 tablespoons (14 to 28 g/0.6 to 1.2 oz) of collagen powder or whey protein powder.
